You can also force the Resolume rendering frame rate to a maximum by setting the frame rate in Composition settings. Having said that this doesn't affect your monitor's refresh rate. You might be able to force the monitor to 50Hz or 75 p using SwitchResX. Theatre sound engineer, photographer, programmer, aka ravensc.

My 24fps movies would stutter on my 60fps TV. Followed the steps above to find out that my Mac had set a value of 30fps for the TV.
Choosing 60fps solved my problem. This is the only answer that tells how to see the refresh rate, thanks!
